A friend told me about a kid who is in the unfortunate situation of being stuck in a nursing home, unable to speak because his aug com device was stolen and insurance won't pay for a replacement.

Terrance has a degenerative disease. This young man was placed in a nursing home and his aunt & uncle threw all of his personal belongings (computer, CD's, everything that mattered to him) in a dumpster.
I've been trying to make contacts at Dynavox to score one for free, but I haven't had much luck and he needs the device sooner rather than later. Thus, when juicing freebies fails, money always succeeds. I need to raise $400 to purchase the device and get the kid talking again.
