SuzieQ,
Way back when, like 5 years ago, a friend and I used to exchange emails. Not your everyday, boring, family email. Rather, it was a lot like Friday Five, but personal. It started like this: He sent me an email with five questions, which I then answered, and also added five questions of my own.
Since you were just getting into the FF, and it went down, I thought you and I could just play my friend's game. Posted. You post your answers and your questions on your blog, and then I will answer.....blah, blah, blah. You get the picture. Perhaps, people who want to answer them as well, can post their answers in the comments section.
So, are you in? If so, here's your first five (I am making it a theme this time, but that won't normally happen):
Here you go. You better answer your own questions dingleberry.

As for answers:
1. I wanted to be a basketball. Seriously. Since I was pretty sure that wasn't an option, I decided I might have to be a basketball player. Which I am not.
2. Let me see.......mentally important, non-essentials: 1) coffee pot, which is fairly self-explanatory 2) the pot rack I had installed over the meat block, everytime I look at it, I feel a little butterfly of happiness 3) damn I wish I had cable, so I am so stealing your answer 4) The bathtub - I once lived in a place with just a standup shower and I ached for a good long soak. In the winter I sometimes take 2 baths a day. 5) The kitties, they just make me so happy, especially when I stick my whole face in their bellies (they hate that, though)
3. Naps are NOT a bad thing
4. Even though I already answered this, 5 is my favorite number because I was born on the 5th of February. When I was young, though, I tended to be more fond of even numbers, except for 5. 9 is also a favorite number because it figures in an odd math game I used to play in my head.
5. I once stole a pack of gum from a convenience store, and my cousins ratted me out to my mom, who took me back to the store, made me apologize and pay for the gum. The clerk told me that he could have called the police if I had been caught. That made me feel rather like shite.
p.s. if you put your blog url in the line up there, people can just click your name on the comment :)
